Best of Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards

The Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards are Canada’s highest honour in the performing arts, each year recognizing seven Canadian artists from the disciplines of classical and popular music, theatre, dance, film and broadcasting, as well as one prominent arts philanthropist.

As Broadcast Partner, CBC/Radio-Canada streamed the June 29th Awards show on cbc.ca and Radio-Canada.ca. In addition, a one-hour Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards 25th Anniversary Special aired on both CBC and ICI RADIO-CANADA TÉLÉ on June 30, 2017.
